Browser compatibility: Use a Chromium-based browser (such as Chrome, Comet, Edge, Helium, Brave, or Opera). Local folder access relies on the File System Access API, which is not supported in every browser. Your editor settings and last opened folder are remembered securely by your browser on your current device. Clearing site data or browser cache will reset these local preferences.
Your files stay on your computer
AtheraStudio Code runs entirely inside your browser. Your files are read and saved directly on your own device, and the editor never uploads your source code to any remote server. The PHP preview also executes locally within your browser environment.
Like any standard website, our web server may record routine technical access logs (such as IP addresses, timestamps, and requested assets). However, these logs never include or have access to the contents of your workspace files.
